Frequently Asked Questions

We are open Monday through Friday from 9.30am to 10.30am / 4.pm - 5.30pm and Saturday mornings 9.30-10.30am. An out of hours drop off or pick up can be arranged at our discretion for a fee of $50. We are a family run business with the help of some lovely cat ladies and we can be flexible with our times within reason. Phone enquiries are welcome anytime during business hours, not just during our opening hours. 


Our fees are charged per calendar day. The day of arrival is counted as day 1 regardless of the time of arrival. On the day of departure, if you are picking your cat up during our morning hours this is classed as a half day, and if picking up during our afternoon hours, this is counted as a full day. 


The essentials are your cat and their carrier with a towel or puppy pad in the base in case of any accidents or car sickness. You are welcome to bring favourite beds and items from home provided they are clean and machine washable. Please don't feed your cat before heading to us as this increases the chance of them being sick or needing to go to the toilet in their carrier which is never pleasant for you or them! We will feed them on arrival, we promise!


Definitely not, all cats are offered individual time out of their suites and we do not mix cats from different families. Some cats have been known to make a friend during their stay, but any time spent together is strictly monitored. 


We always try to capture our little guests on camera, but some can be camera shy especially while settling in. Our priority is their wellbeing, and we will only play paparazzi when they are settled and happy for us to do so. Cat photography can be tricky but we do our best! We have Facebook and Instagram pages where we regularly post updates and you are welcome to contact us to check in. Please advise the best method of contact if travelling overseas (Whatsapp etc). 


This can be arranged strictly by appointment and at our discretion. Sometimes this can be unsettling for cats but we understand being away from them is hard, especially for an extended period. 


Yes, we require all cats to be up to date on their vaccinations and flea / tick prevention for their safety and the safety of other pets in our care. 


Our days start early with breakfast and room service! This gives each cat a chance to pop out into the main cattery areas and front catio should they wish to. Water bowls are refreshed with our filtered water and each guest receives a general health check and a cuddle if they'll let us! Once the hard work is done, its playtime for any guest who hasn't decided to snooze (cats are champion snoozers!!). This continues until around 12-1pm when everyone is generally asleep again (what a life!). The afternoons commence at 3.30pm where it's another round of cleaning and playing and then the dinner service commences at around 5pm. Veranda windows are shut as dusk arrives and then its last checks of litter trays and food bowls, and everyone is tucked into bed. Depending on the time of year, the air con is on cooling or heating to ensure everyone is cozy and comfortable.
