1. Cats are to arrive in a secure cat carrier. Please do not forget to put a towel or puppy pad in the base of the carrier in case of any accidents.
2. Boarding fees are charged per calendar day. Day 1 is counted as the day your cat arrives and the final day of a guests stay is counted as the final day regardless of the time of departure.
3. We provide all food that can be purchased from the supermarket (Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Aldi). Anything more specialised needs to be provided by you. If providing your own food, it is preferred that it is sent in a solid container and labelled with your kitty cat's name. If providing food, please ensure you pack an adequate amount of food for the duration of your cat's stay.
4. Up to two serves per day of tinned food / fresh meat etc. is included in the daily fees. Should you require additional servings of tinned food / fresh meat, this will need to be provided by you, or can be provided by us for an additional daily fee.
5. Verrierdale Cat Hotel is not open on Sundays and public holidays for pick-ups and drop offs. Should you need to collect your kitty cat during one of these periods, this is strictly by appointment and at our discretion. A $100 OUT OF HOURS FEE APPLIES UNLESS PRE-ORGANISED.
6. There are no pick-ups and drop offs offered on Sundays so please factor this in when booking. We will still be here looking after our fluffy guests, but most likely in our pjs!
7. Our opening times are 9-1030am and 4-6pm Monday to Saturday. Our time is planned around our schedule of arrivals and departures, and late arrivals / departures cannot always be catered for. Please do not arrive earlier than 9am on your day of arrival, or later than 5:50pm on your day of departure.
8. All cats must be de-sexed and fully vaccinated. A copy of your cat’s vaccination certificate MUST be provided on or prior to admission. Please discuss this with your veterinarian if unsure of which vaccination your kitty cat requires. Vaccination boosters or new vaccinations need to be administered AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL - this is not negotiable.
9. Notice of any pre-existing medical conditions and medications to be administered must be provided when booking (we do not accept diabetic cats). Medications should be clearly labelled and prepared (i.e. tablets to be quartered or halved prior to boarding). Cats requiring medication will be accepted at our discretion and an additional daily fee may apply.
10. All cats must be treated with a veterinary grade flea and tick treatment at least 3-4 days prior to arrival. If your kitty cat is staying longer than the treatment lasts, please bring a second dosage to be applied by us. Please discuss this with your veterinarian if unsure of which product to use.
11. If veterinary attention is necessary, you (the owner) are liable for all such expenses. We will aim to use your preferred Veterinarian and will contact you immediately, but if you are not contactable, we will act in the best interests of your cat, and all relevant costs will be passed to you (the owner).
12. Under no circumstances will Verrierdale Cat Hotel be held responsible for illness, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any cat staying at Verrierdale Cat Hotel.
13. Boarding fees in their entirety are to be paid prior to arrival at Verrierdale Cat Hotel unless other arrangements have been made. Cash on arrival is also welcome. Cats cannot be collected until fees are paid in full and proof of payment provided.
14. Any cat not collected within 7 days of the agreed date of departure will be surrendered to the relevant authorities. Unfortunately, being a small facility and having pets of my own, I am not able to take in unwanted pets regardless of the circumstances.
15. A 20% deposit will be invoiced on booking. Please note deposits are non-refundable should your plans change. Any deposits not paid within seven (7) days of receiving the booking invoice will be cancelled unless otherwise discussed. Bookings cancelled within seven (7) days of the date of the commencement of your booking are non-refundable or transferable.
16. In the event of a natural disaster or emergency it is expected that you have taken out travel insurance that covers boarding expenses. We cannot be expected to provide refunds / credits in these situations, We will always aim to reach an equitable outcome.
17. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. It is your responsibility to ensure you have read and accept the above terms and conditions prior to booking/arrival.
